[ Athelstan half wishes he did have another of those drinks to make things easier. It still bothers him what had happened, knowing the drink is the only reason it had and yet he couldn't really blame the man who gave it to him. He could have said no at any point, resisted the urges and been strong.
But he hadn't. It felt wrong to him in many ways, not least of all that it had not been ragnar. The guilt was stronger than any personal distress lingering from that night.
This is a logical way to make it right. So, its not long before Athelstan arrives at the house. His mind s full of turmoil but in his heart he cant really deny he wants to have sex with Ragnar. Hes wanted it a long time but his vows and so many other things had been in the way. He still doesn't full understand the drink or how it had affected him but he decides it doesnt matter now.
